EcoFreight uses necessary storage to run the site and optional analytics only after consent. We do not sell personal data, and the public site does not currently load advertising cookies.

Current analytics status: disabled. This setting controls GA4 and Microsoft Clarity loading on this browser.
- Security, authentication, and abuse-prevention state needed to run the site and dashboard.
- Cookie-consent preferences stored in localStorage so the banner does not reappear on every page.
- No analytics or marketing scripts are loaded through this category.
- Theme and interface preferences such as light/dark mode.
- Calculator UI preferences that improve repeat use without changing emission results.
- Functional storage does not send browsing behaviour to third-party analytics providers.
- Google Analytics 4 measurement, only when VITE_GA4_MEASUREMENT_ID is configured and analytics consent is granted.
- Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session diagnostics, only when VITE_CLARITY_PROJECT_ID is configured and analytics consent is granted.
- Events include page views, calculator starts and successes, docs clicks, contact form submissions, and sign-up starts.
- EcoFreight does not currently load advertising pixels or retargeting tags on the public site.
- The consent banner keeps a marketing preference field so future marketing tags cannot be enabled without explicit choice.
- Google Consent Mode sets ad_storage to denied.
Google Consent Mode
When you reject analytics, EcoFreight sends a Consent Mode update with analytics_storage: denied and keeps ad_storage: denied. When you allow analytics, analytics storage is granted and GA4 page-view and funnel events are sent without enabling advertising storage.
Embedded calculator
The embed widget is served from /embed/calculator as a bare iframe target. It does not render the site header, footer, login modal, or cookie banner, and it does not set cookies on the host page.
